In the Fifteenth episode of The JCast Journey, host Darone Ruskay talks about the huge week that has just passed in the Tech World. The announcement of the iPhone 4S as well as the death of Apple Co-Founder, Charman of the Board and Former CEO, Steve Jobs.
Darone discusses the way that Apple products, including the iPod, Macintosh and most importantly the iTunes Music store, made way for his new project JCast Network, and the gratitude that Darone feels for these innovations.
This week’s opening and closing was the copy from Apple’s Think Different ads that were produced in 1997. Below is the first ad, narrated by Steve Jobs himself. (The ad that was run on tv had the voice of actor Richard Dreyfuss, but it is especially poigniant to hear Mr. Jobs himself.
In addition, Darone has been nominated as a Jewish Community Hero, and he needs your vote to become a semi-finalist. The winner’s organization (JCast Network) will receive a sizable grant, which will help to keep JCast Network afloat. Please consider voting at the Jewish Community Heroes website. You can vote once each day, and we hope that you wll consider doing just that, each day through November 10th.
