EstheI Israel has been a Mishna, Talmud and Bible instructor in the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem since 1998, having lived in Jerusalem since age 19, when she herself came to study in various women's yeshivot (and other institutions of high learning) in the days when yeshiva studies for Israeli women was a bizarre notion. Other loves are her family and the neighborhood community garden.
