Welcome to the Forty Third episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Emma Kippley-Ogman looks at Masechet Shabbat Daf 44. Today’s daf introduces us to the theme of the rest of the chapter — muktze, the objects we might set aside for Shabbat. We learn some of the particulars of carrying, and how muktze invites us to reflect on the objects in our lives.
Rabbi Emma Kippley-Ogman is Assistant Rabbi at Beth Jacob Congregation in Mendota Heights, MN.
The opening and closing music for this podcast is Ufros from The Epichorus album One Bead.
