Welcome to the Three Hundred Thirty Fourth episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Michael Pitkowsky looks at Masechet Pesachim Daf 75.
The Gemara continues its discussion about roasting the Korban Pesach. Today’s daf presents us with a possible contradiction between a stated law in the Mishnah and a narrative description of a certain rabbi’s behavior. The Gemara attempts to reconcile the written law with the descriptive narrative of rabbinic behavior.
Rabbi Michael Pitkowsky is the Rabbinics Curriculum Coordinator at the Academy for Jewish Religion and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
