Welcome to the Three Hundred and Sixteenth episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Ruth Fagen looks at Masechet Pesachim Daf 57.
Today’s daf is filled with stories of corrupt Cohanim, who put their own greed and desire above their commitment to both the Temple and the Jewish people. What can we learn about the nature of leadership from these stories?
Ruth Satinover Fagen is the head of the Limudei Qodesh Department at the Abraham Joshua Heschel High School, where she is also Faculty Educator. Her greatest joy in life is studying Talmud, or any other Jewish text with any of her four children.
The opening and closing music for this podcast is Ufros from The Epichorus album One Bead.
