Welcome to the Two Hundred Twenty First episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Joshua Heller looks at Masechet Eruvin Daf 66.
Today’s daf looks at the question of relinquishment of rights. If you lived in a courtyard and didn’t join the eruv, you might ruin it for all of the other residents, but you can save the day by relinquishing your rights. How does that work if an eruv includes more than one courtyard?
Rabbi Joshua Heller is the Senior Rabbi of Congregation B’nai Torah in Sandy Springs, and chair of the rites and rituals subcommittee of the Conservative Movement’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards.
The opening and closing music for this podcast is Ufros from The Epichorus album One Bead.
