Welcome to the Hundred and Ninety Eighth episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Ute Steyer looks at Masechet Eruvin Daf 43.
This page shows us an example of respect for different views on the stringency of halakhic observance among the sages of the Talmud. Another question is will Messiah come on Shabbat or will he too be bound by the restrictions of movement on Shabbat?
Rabbi Ute Steyer received rabbinic ordination and a M.A. in Jewish Philosophy from The Jewish Theological Seminary in 2009. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Jewish philosophy at the Hebrew University.
