Did you grow up with this story? Of course you did, as did I! When I started telling as a new storyteller the Three Billy Goats Gruff was a request story – one that children always wanted to hear. After so many retellings it has emerged as my favorite tale of group action to combat a problem.
Note: This is a Norwegian tale collected by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe in the 1840’s.
