Humans are, the anthropologists say, the storytelling animal. Drawn in to the worlds created and the adventures offered by the spoken word, we hear our history, our culture and our ethics. We learn, we think, we laugh, we cry – and we do it as a community of storytellers and story listeners. So sit back, relax, listen, and let the stories take you on the remarkable journey of metaphor, music and magic of the Jewish storytelling tradition and beyond!

Beyond Chelm is a bi-weekly program of Jewish and global stories told by award-winning storyteller Robin Bady.
