In this inaugural episode of Isabella FreeRadio, host Rachel Jacoby Rosenfield, welcomes Ruth Messenger, President of AJWS and Nigel Savage, Executive Director of Hazon to talk about their own personal connection to Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, the ways and reasons that their organizations use Isabella Freedman and the ways that the work of the two organizations are similar to the mission and work of the camp.
The conversation included questions of the roles, locally and globally, in changing food policy, the upcoming farm bill and what we as individuals and as a community can do to think more intentionally about food.
The next Isabella FreeRadio program “Celebrating the Harvest: Looking Forward to Sukkahfest” will take place on October 4th. Please visit IsabellaFreedman.org for more information.
